I got got letter today about a tennis camp for little kids this winter! And they want ME to help teach them how to play!

This brings back so many good memories of Tachibana-san teaching us stuff.

Wow. The classes at Yamabuki aren't that different from the ones at Fudomine. I mean the classes are different because the subjects are different... but they're not that much harder.

The tennis team here is great! I get to talk to Minami-sempai and Sengoku-sempai almost every day. XD

I really miss seeing everyone else every day though. It's weird to not have any classes with Akira getting yelled at for having his headphones on.

And it's weird being a freshman again when we WON NATIONALS LAST YEAR! XDDDDD I never minded chasing balls and practicing swings though.

I saw a tanuki today! He was near the stand of trees beyond the far court. I hope it's a sign of luck!

I made a new friend today! XDDDDD He was really helpful and nice!

We should practice our doubles formations a lot this week, Hiyoshi-kun. I want to win!

Osamu-sensei tried to teach Minami and me meditation last night. I stared at the clouds, and chewed on some grass, and stared at my belly button.

... It does look kind of weird after awhile. Then we just took a nap on the lawn.

I get to play against Akira on Saturday! I'll do my best!

Itsuki-kun and I lost, but it was a really fun game! I mean, we were playing against two former captains after all. They had some really great moves.

All the other matches I saw today were amazing! I'll have to work even harder for next year!

...... so many of the former third years are scary when they play! I'm sort of glad that they've graduated and we won't have to face them next year.

This heat wave isn't any fun! The new players are dropping on the court like flies no matter how much water they drink. Even I felt a little faint on Friday. I hope we're not heading into a drought.

My family went to the public pool yesterday. It was really refreshing. Especially the parts where I dunked my brother underwater as payback for biting me last month. XD There were a lot of other kids there and we had a few games of water volleyball and Marco Polo. I want to go back again soon. It beats plastering myself onto the AC unit.

I hate English. I hate English tests. I especially hate English teacher's who give you pop tests.

My little brother is such a slob! Mom made me help him clean his room last night. There was a mountain of comics and matchbox cars all over the floor. My room's not nearly that bad! The piles of magazines and tennis equipment are all neatly stacked... mostly.

And then he bit me! I hope he doesn't have rabies. Siblings can be so annoying.

Uchimura showed me how to make one of these journal things. It's great that I can keep in contact with everyone this way. Sometimes it's just to difficult to call everyone to tell them the same thing, right? This is much easier.
